Duty Manager

Job Description:

  • Assist  the  General  Manager/OIC in  overseeing  all  the  events,  activities  and operations in the Hotel.
  • Assist  the  General  Manager /OIC in  making  necessary  recommendations  and decisions  needed  in  the  property  and  ensure  all  hotel rules  and  policies properly implemented.
  • Assist the General Manager/ OIC in monitoring the tasks of personnel and workers, set goals and plans to promote and improve the service of their department.
  • Responsible  in handling client’s  complaints  and compliments  on their  functions  or events; and ensure the activities are well organized.
  • Assist  the  General  Manager/  OIC  in  the  preparation  and  consolidation  of  report compliance/ program accomplishment as directed by the Management.
  • Ensure the welcoming of guests and customers as they enter the hotel.
  • Responsible  in  the  regular  inspection  and  monitoring  of  establishment  in coordination with the department heads to ensure operational safety & function.
  • Assist  the  General  Manager/  OIC  in  ensuring  the  security  of  guests,  customers, employees and alike
  • Ensures that the Company House Rules and Regulations are properly implemented
  • Assist the  department heads  in identifying operational requirements and prepares necessary  documentation  for  the  procurement  of  materials  based  on  daily operational need.
  • Assist  the  department  heads  in  the  implementation  of  policies  and  procedures necessary to improve  the daily operations.
  • Assist  the  General  Manager/  OIC  in  conducting  the  regular  meeting  with  thedepartment heads to address the operational concerns and alike.
Job Specification:
  • Preferably with Bachelor's degree in HRM or equivalent
  • At least 2 years experience as Hotel Duty Manager/Senior Supervisor/Front Office Supervisor in a Hotel/Resort
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Can work in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on management style (Front Office, Housekeeping and F&B Operations)
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Systematic and organized
  • Familiarity with IFCA System an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Place of Assignment: Cebu
